i would like to simply point out to the person who started this post and the people who agree that you were once children and i bet if you ask your parents, at some point in your childhood you were once the annoying screaming brat that someone else (like you right now) was complaining about. we all will have been. yes some parent do let their kids run wild and dont care. thats out of order, but there are also parents like me who make my child follow the rules but occationally have to deal with his tantrum. its a fact of life. All the pubs i know will only let kids in if eating and only up till 9pm so there is yor child free time. in places big enough maybe have a family side i do agree but at the same time not everyplace can cater for that. Screaming kids are just a fact of life tho so there is no escaping them and again im sure we/you were too

I have heard afew people saying its going to be a mosque. Im not saying this is true, but over the xmas period when the workmen first went onto sight i heard alot of different people say they had been told by the workmen that sheffield council had not only given permission for it to be built but they have also given them the land For free.

there is no barclays bank that you can acctully go into in meadowhall. there is only a cash machine at the bottom of the esculatour near marks. there is a branch opposite the arena square pub/ sheffield arena. hope this helps

I think they should have marked the road with white arrows and put the breaks in the road which show that you can cross a lane. the worst thing i find is when i come out of asda and want to turn right onto wordworth (going past chaucer). I get into the right hand lane and indicate but then when i want to cross to the left lane i find people coming from deeland where the pub is just come straught out because they dont realise you have to go across the lane to get onto wordsoworth. I dont think its all down to bad driving i think its down to bad markings. I do agree to just go slowly and espect someone else to ether cut ya up or beep ya because they think you are wrong. I must saying coming past chaucer towards the adsa shouldnt be a problem as that is the only approtch that has white arrows and is very clear

Well the company in question have finally given me a full reply to my complaints. They offered me a refund on vets bills (which i have accepted but still not got??) and they also offered me a free rabbit when i want one. I replied "i decline this offer and have lost all confidence in the company and will never shop there or in any store again" i havent had any responce to this. They still stand by the advise given to remove all food (pellets and musli) and only leave hay and straw to eat dispite the fact i told them rabbits should never stop eating. This makes me sad and mad to think the same bad advise can be given to other people and i told them that. I will as usual post any other responces from them if i get any. and again thanks to everyone who has posted helpfull info and nice comments

Hi just bfor everyone who has been reading and posting in this thread i thoughtid let you know i have finally had a responce from the company in question. As of yet they havent yet said anything usefull just that they are investigating but at least some responce. i have found out it may be because my partner sent them another nasty message lastnight tho will let everyone know what they finally have to say if they get back in touch. I would also like to take the chance to thank everyone who has commented. your help, advise and kind words have helped in more ways than one

Ok moonbird ill say thanks for not removing the post i do appresiate that but surly if any legal action was to be taken then you could just pass on my details and they could take it up with me?? Which they wouldnt cus they know its true, are gutless and wouldnt want any more bad press. And to just make another point I only names the store because it has been previously name on an older post from 2006-2010 so didnt realise what i was doing was against the rules Sorry.

Its funny you should say that cause i went into the Parkgate store about 3 weeks ago (before all this trouble started) and there was a large angel fish been attacked by loads of bottom feeders and when i told the lad who was in charge of fish he just said "It happens" i replyed "only if you let it" and left. The more i think about them the angrer it makes me. Im also annoyed about the editing. whats happened to freedom of speech?? Hopefully people will still be able to work out the company im talking about and stay away. Im not just slagging a store/company im teliing a true sad story. If that company have a problem with it then they should teach the staff to stop it happening and and answer their customers!!!!

thanks so much for everyones feedback and nice comments. Its so sad to hear that its a common problem with in the compant and thats probably why they havent replyed. At the same time in a small way its comforting to know that it wasnt anything i did wrong as before i got him to the vets thats how i felt. I was heartbroken thinking that i might have made him ill and not looked after him proper because i love animals and always try to do the best. I will evenually get another rabbit but we have decided to wait till after the cold weather passes. I would like to rescue but dont know if i could walk round with out wanting to bring every single one home. I will seriously consider it tho I know one thing i will never buy from anything from that company again even if they do finally find the balls to send me a reply.

Im sorry to start this thread as i know there are others, but they were started years ago and i want this to be read and hopefully stop the heartbreak I have had. I was so exsited when I heard that a new Pet shop was opening locally. Finaly one I could walk to. One month ago we went down to look at some fish. Upon arriving at the store we found lots of tanks with Sickness notices on and more tanks that didnt have sickness notes on but had very sick (and even lots of dead) fish inside. We decided not to buy any of the fish. Instead I ended up falling in love with a rabbit and we bought him instead. I was told he was 6months old and he had been added to adpotion that day because he was unsold from the last store batch and they can be bullied if added to a new batch. I only had him 3 weeks when 2 weeks ago he became ill with diahorra. As it was a weekend and I couldnt contact my vet i went back to store for advise. I was told to give him straw and make sure he drank water lots. No food for 2 days and no treats. She said as long as his poo started to go back to pellets and he was eating and drinking he would be fine. I did this and 2 days later i thought he was getting better. Everything was as she had said. Unfortunatly on the wednesday he became really ill and when my partner took him to the vets we had to have him put down. While at the vets there was an assistant from the pets at home store with 3 sick rabbits and as my partner was leaving one of the vets assistants told him to complain because (in her words) "she was sick to death of seeing sick animals from that bloody store and it has only been there about 2 months" I contacted pets at home via there website exsplaining everything but after 1 week i have had NO REPLY at all. Not even a sorry. It may be a problem with supplyers or with the staff but they dont seem to care. In the past i have had small animals and glad to say no probs and i would have probably put this down to bad luck had i not been advised other wise. Obviously Im not going to say Dont ever shop there but i wanted to tell my storey and see if anyone else has had any issues. I personally wont ever deal with pets at home again due to the fact they cant be bothered to even acknowledge my sadness but thats just me. To everyone thanks for reading and please do not put any sarcastic or sick posts (like i read on many pages) as this is an upsetting matter for me and my family.

cleopatra in meadowhall and exstravagence just round the corner are both in the lanes. dont know of any in sheff apart from the ones already named but in roth there is one called Mesmorise. you walk to w.h.smiths (on your left hand side) then follow the road straught ahead as if you are leaving the town centre and its one of the last shops on the right. (if you hit big carpark you've passed it hope this helps.
