  1. Macclesfield. Would be a hefty complementary taxi-drive home...
  2. If you want a job...press 1 Your request is important to us, please hold.
  3. What a great idea. I can't join in as I live too far away, but would so love this. Good luck.
  4. Couple of my colleagues went and said what a fantastic experience they had (and one is about 50 and rather posh).
  5. Yes, I thought I caught a glimse of defeat in his eyes. Never been a fan of Murray, but didn't really like to see him losing. Nadal was playing like an animal towards the end, but in fairness Murray put up an admirable fight and there were some terrific rallies. Polite support from the crowd. Something missing though...
  6. Anyway, it's late, I'm a bit lonely, and my next-door-neighbour who's having a party has invited me round, so will pop round for half-an-hour. TTFN.
  7. Thanks Pattricia, but unfortunately I'm not clever at all, and I can't see into the future.
  8. Pattricia, thank you, but I'm not intelligent really, and quite suprised that I would be seen that way. However, I was just thinking, you're a soft-soul, and a peace-keeper. Perhaps I'm perceptive enough to spot that.
  9. I'm in my 30's too. And watching it longingly on TV too. Shame it wasn't school holidays for your wife!
  10. Yes it does, and I agree with you for the exact same reason.
  11. Yes, but what are your thoughts Pattricia? You often just give one-liners and I'm non-the-wiser about your point of view.
  12. After years of being disinterested, really good line up this year, most of main acts, I like, and weather has been great. Damn that I wan't there.
  13. Yeah, I'm with that, Swami seems an articulate, wise, and knows to control his temper. It's just that the essence of his philosophy seems inherently selfish to me. And is thus, twaddle to me. I'm sure Swami is well capable of reflection and rising above critics, though.
  14. I wasn't really wanting to turn this into an argument, really. Just making conversation about tennis. Federer to win, he's fit.
  15. See, I find that you have generally irritating points of view about people who live in England. Sorry, but most of us aren't that bad. I suspect you've become absorbed in a culture so different from your own, that you not only you see the beauty in it, you feel disgusted and can no longer see the beauty in your own culture back home. Nonsense, as far as I'm concerned, quite frankly-you're rude at times. And if it was that good in Indonesia, and that bad in England, you wouldn't be on this forum.
  16. True and he's an excellent tennis player, he's just not spectacular. And I disagree, I think personality has a lot to do with the most lengendary watchable tennis. Think McEnroe, Henri Leconte, Goran Ivanisevic, and now Marcos Baghdatis.
  17. Hehe. Lights will guide you home, and ignite your bones. I will try to fix you.
  18. How fabulous was that Novak Djokovic and Marcos Baghdatis game? Wonderful tennis, electric crowd and late sunshine, only thing that could have been better that it should have lasted longer....
  19. He seems to have lost his smile behind somewhere as well.
