Looking for a reliable trustworthy recommended odd job person/Builder. General pointing and couple of plumbing jobs needing doing. Been let down by couple of supposed reliable companies so no time wasters please.

Problem solved - everyone thank you for your advice and help. Restored PC to few weeks before problem started - all working again.

The laptop won't link to the router hence me thinking the problem is with the laptop. The router is working perfectly

Laptop - connected directly to router via cable - nothing PC - connected directly to router via cable - working fine Same router used each time

At first I thought it was a problem with the dongle - but even with the internet plugged directly into the back of the laptop I still can't access the Internet on the laptop - know the Internet connect is Ok as I'm on it now on the other PC

I have a Fujitsu Siemens Laptop running on Windows Vista A couple of weeks ago we couldn't get onto the internet via Internet Explorer. We access this via a Netgear dongle. As the blue light on the dongle wasn't flashing we presumed it was broken so have bought another one. I've tried loads of times to get this to work, uninstalling the software and reinstalling it - nothing. I've even connected the internet router directly into the back of the laptop - nothing - says no internet connection found, Is it a virus? or looking at other threads on here something to do with an Adobe update? Any advice gratefully received.
