Autoworld con/bribe - £47 hostage fee for car
kingdon replied to Gethical's topic in Sheffield News & Discussions
personally i wouldnt use main dealer unless your car is under warrentee, as there is far too much busy bodys and expensive building to pay for, so they will have to charge more for the same work as a specialist who has a lot lower overheads, -

Immigration megathread part 3
kingdon replied to jonsastar's topic in Padders' Bar: General Discussions
why should they hire 'white' people who demand a good wage, when a polish worker will work twice as hard and half the pay, Ask yourself a simple question who works harder day in and day out? the world is a competitive place if you dont make your company very cost efficent you will not stay in business, immigrants wouldnt ask for minimum pay and is very gratful that you are have giving a chance to work for his living -

Best place to purchase a used car??
kingdon replied to Agent Orange's topic in Padders' Bar: General Discussions
it doesnt lose £3000 staight away as the car is hearvy discounted, nothing beats driving a new car with everything nice and tight/smells lovely, 3 year warrently, 3 years no MOT, just paid routine servicing for hassle free motoring that cant be bad the car should be still worth £5000 after three years, so for £5000 you get 3 years of no big unexpected bill in a new car cant be bad -

Car rear ended- money back??
kingdon replied to Claire28's topic in Padders' Bar: General Discussions
have a chat with the dealer and see what they say but i doubt you get very far unless you bring a few big friends, or you can try claiming off hpi "The cover provided is based on the car's value. In the case where HPI provides incorrect data affecting vehicle title (such as theft or outstanding finance), the HPI Guarantee will cover up to £10,000, either in compensation or the costs needed to obtain good title to the vehicle (at HPI's discretion). In the case where HPI provides incorrect data affecting the vehicle's condition, the HPI Guarantee will cover up to £2,000 or 20% of the market value of the car, whichever is the lower." -

Car rear ended- money back??
kingdon replied to Claire28's topic in Padders' Bar: General Discussions
hpi clear doesnt mean a thing, if the previous owner never claim insurance it wouldnt have shown up! not much chance of getting money back as all second hand cars are sold as seen(check small print), if the repair wasnt major and was repair ok dont worry about it as it wouldnt affect the car! -
What's the law with regards to Laptop warranty
kingdon replied to neeeeeeeeeek's topic in Padders' Bar: General Discussions
if the seller could get it repair under warrentee ,dont you think he would have done it instead of selling it? 99% the seller brought it hot, laptop broke down, he didnt/couldnt claim as he is not the legal owner so he flogs it on online auction, -

Wii's ... why are they not in the shops?
kingdon replied to pinklady's topic in Padders' Bar: General Discussions
its hype + supply/demand, with shortage people all think wii must be great as its been sold out for ages so everyone talks about it, if there was over supply of this console a lot of people will think its rubblish and sell on ebay for nothing like i have but for a profit, its all marketing ferrari, BMW, Mercedes been doing this for many uears with great success -

last time i saw the red arrows was at silverstone F1 race 2000 and that lasted 5 minutes, when was the last time anyone saw red arrows live? regrading the cost how can it cost nothing what about all the parts? all aircraft parts have a time limit before it is replace regardless of its condition! what about the time wasted when they are training? the arrows should be self funding and not a money draining black hole
