hi, ive sold a car on ebay and the winning bidder was from germany, once my item had ended the winner emailed me to ask when he would collect and pay by cash, i emailed back and asked when they would like to collect, since this email ive heard nothing (this was 3 days ago and ive send endless emails). because ive heard nothing i used the second chance offer to the give to the next highest bidder, he was from the netherlands, he accepted the 2nd chance offer and paid a deposit instantly by paypal. i then today get a phone call from a german translator telling me that the german buyer is coming to collect the car this weekend, i explained that i had sent endless emails and that because ive had no responses back i used the 2nd chance offer and that the car is now sold. they was not happy and told me they would make it very difficult for me with ebay, the translator had very bad attitude and spoke to me very rudely, they said they had bought ferry tickets and were coming tomorrow to get the car, i have emailed ebay with regards to this but im still waiting their reply, i just wondered if anyone else had been in the same senario. i should have stated that i didnt want overseas buyers etc but i didnt (my mistake i know), also because the car had a private plate on it ive had to go to dvla to get plate changed over, the guy who paid the deposit is aware of this and says its fine, his friend in england will collect car when relevent docs are here. when i explained to the germans that the docs are not even with car they are with dvla they said we dont need any docs we just want the car as we have international plates, they couldnt do that could they ? im at a loss as to what to do, am i in the wrong here?

i think its good that they are trying to help themselves and the guy on the moor outside sainsburys is very polite indeed even when you don't buy one my mum never buys one but she always gives them the money for one and tells them to sell it to someone else. the people who bug me are the canversers in fargate trying to get you to have a catalogue they really do my head in the hound you as your walking past. as for the guy at the station like another member said if you dont want one just say "no thank you" its not hard. as for him being there, whats wrong with that, he has every right to be there doesnt he ?? as for beggers on the street i won't give them the time of day, probably the majority of them are on benefits anyway and living in council accomodation.
