Guest sibon   #39 Posted May 27, 2011 As do spiders, ladybirds, frogs and probably others.  And the more biodiversity that we have, the better. Wasps are generally a force for good. I wouldn't want a wasp nest in my hedge though
 Share this content via...

I wouldn't want a wasp nest in my hedge though  I was totally fascinated by the one i had, i'd even sit on the garden wall watching them come and go, whilst having an after work can or two, until they turned on me, the gits. V.Rossi   10 #42 Posted May 27, 2011 I had one on my balcony last year and left well alone, I woke up one morning and came into the kitchen to find literally thousands of them all over my windows, my balcony was full of them, and then they found a way inside, one by one I had about 20-30 in my living room at one point and I was going mad with aerosol and lighter, terrified out of my skin cos I'm not their biggest fan add to that my daughter was awake and ready to come in the room.  I must admit though, when they were just crawling up the windows it was a pretty amazing sight to watch, soon went down hill when they found a hole though. upinwath   10 #47 Posted May 28, 2011 Go to a DIY shop. Buy the wasp nest killer spray. Spray it on the hole in the wasp's nest. They die. Remove nest.
 Share this content via...

Coat with conditioner before blow drying ( to prevent fluffiness). Contact Alcoblog.  (Seriously: ring the Council.)
 Share this content via...
