RiffRaff   10 #16 Posted October 26, 2005 Might that be Colin "makes my plums ache" Smith? Slightly lacking in the hair department, but plenty of humour?!
 Share this content via...
desy   10 #17 Posted October 27, 2005 Coulf be him. But don't know him by his middle names
 Share this content via...
RiffRaff   10 #18 Posted October 27, 2005 Hmmm.... The same Colin "I've been hill walking in the Himalayas" and "cycled around the earth the equivalent of 15 times" Smith? Built his own bungalow? Is not - how shall I put this? - exactly anorexic?
 Share this content via...

RiffRaff   10 #20 Posted October 27, 2005 Agreed! Used to have the occasional lemonade shandy with him - great sense of humour, do anything for you......well, within reason, I'm sure!
 Share this content via...
TechnicAl   10 #21 Posted March 20, 2007 Used to be a Roadrunner regular both at the Cricket Club and later when it was in Swall Miners Welfare. I knew Nev (what a shock when I heard he had passed on). Some of the names are familiar Luce, Bloggs, there was also Chalky (Kevin) White, Neil Patterson, Chabby Beaumont. Occasionally see Chalky in Robin Hood Not seen Ray Banks for years, he must be 60 ish now  There was another DJ at the Cricket Club, think he was called Dave Growns and I think he ended up at Josephines in Sheffield.  I bet I know RiffRaff but the title fits most of the people I know
 Share this content via...
Buccaneer   10 #22 Posted May 30, 2007 THE place to be out of Sheffield on a Friday night. Kids would travel for miles around to come to the Roadrunner which was always packed. Ray Banks the DJ would play some amazing music at top volume through his 20" Cinema speakers. What good times! - Punch-ups as well on occasion!
