Do you put XXX's on the end of your text messages, why?

I put one at the end of every text to females generally - and I was told the other day if theres no 'x' at the end of a text from a female, I've probably annoyed them

I questioned it as well, I presume it only applies to people within that group of girls - what me (and my male housemate) found funny was that one of them sent a text to someone which sounded perfectly nice, but expected them to realise they were angry at them from the lack of an x.

 

Conversly, I'm not sure if more x's is better...

 

I tend to see it more as signing something, like you would a letter or email more than anything else...

She gets angry at me if the 'x's aren't there.

I use xxx on every text, but then I haven't really got the hang of texting, and avoid it whenever possible, so the only person I ever text is my son

I put them on without even thinking, lol, so I don't think too much of it when someone puts them on a text to me, nor do I consider the number of x's I get!
