Does anyone remember Allen's ice cream.

He kept his vans & ice cream making from one of the big houses on Shrewsbury Road.

The house will be known to many as Mrs Allen's Bed & Breakfast.

Happy Days! PopT

Hi Gordon,I only know of RAymond through my acquaintance with Dom Monfredi and his brother John.

All I recall of him is that he occasionally helped out in the ice cream yard and drove the vans.

Sorry I can't be more helpful...

hi , I remember cairios on Rock street Tony was married to my cousin best icecream ever

Hi Valsden

I lived a few yards further up Rock St from Tonys shop, I must have eaten gallons of their ice cream. Did they make their own? There was another woman who worked in the shop, dont know if it was his wife or his sister (she looked Italian). Was his dad called Sylvester?
