It isn't being discussed. People are paying their respects, many of whom knew the poor bloke personally.

Goodness me. What time was this crash? I live on Den Bank Avenue just outside Crosspool and didn't see anything. I got home at around 6:30pm.

 

The stretch of Manchester Road once outside Crosspool is a death trap.

The crash was at around 3.45pm and he was declared dead at the scene at 4.30pm.

I appreciate that, and obviously what has happened is tragic. I'm actually trying to be tactful though in pointing out that I don't believe this to be the ideal place for it to be discussed.

 

Yes people on here might know him, the majority however don't.

It's humanity mate, most of us have experienced grief and can empathise to an extent with fellow forummers that had the privildge of knowing & loving Shaw.

 

While I didn't meet the man himself, I can offer my few words & thoughts among those who did.
