SCC are assessing their property assets.

they have to.

This year (2024) they have a balanced budget - for which i think they deserve a lot of credit.

But they know they're heading for a short-fall. Funding is going down, costs are going up.

The term 'fire sale' suggests selling quickly, at far below market rate, which seems unlikely.

If in the unlikely event of such a sale taking place, where would it be likely to be advertised, I’m in the market for a cordless, rechargeable lawn mower?

selling assets to pay for day to day spending is madness. It's clearly an unsustainable strategy. Sooner or later they will have to cut services to fit their budget, better to do it sooner than sell off community assets.
