PapaLazarou
Who on earth changes shirt sponsors half way through a season? https://www.swfc.co.uk/news/2024/february/owls-announce-new-shirt-sponsor/ Whats the reason behind this? And this is just hilarious: "Supporters will have the opportunity in the coming weeks of adding the Cirata logo to their official replica shirt at the Owls Megastore free of charge but are advised the outline of the previous sponsor may be visible beneath." You couldn't make this stuff up. Its better than Fawlty Towers. Edited February 14 by PapaLazarou 2

Zinger549
It happened with West Ham. We were sponsored by XL holidays and they went bust. For a few weeks the had shirt numbers on the front. They then did a deal with a gambling company.

bassett one
the last sponsor who some claimed had loads of cash to buy wednesday at last count had not even paid the bill said mr chansiri never mind offering millions to buy the club and ground ,like i say theres lots of people out there with no money claiming they have cash,so thats the most likely reason they have not paid or paid very late ,so hes ditched them. I think the new sponsor and the previous sponsor are owned/run by the same person.

Cirata is the re-branded Wandisco. Shares plummeted after trading in its shares were suspended, as it was embroiled in a fraud scandal and investigation. Indeed, an investigation found that WANdisco’s revenue may have been overstated by about $15m and $115.4m in sales bookings was false. Richard used to run Wandisco (now Cirata), and does indeed run Eyup.

cuttsie
I am not bothered who sponsors the Owls as long as they are not gambling sites , Those company's ruin lives and when young people see those names on a club shirt they are influenced . Any club that uses these sites should be ashamed .
