Meltman   314 #231 Posted March 26 Am I understand this correctly.....there are and have been many complaints and comments about the volume of traffic and driving standards to do with the roundabout at Meadowhead and the new sports stadium, and now they are compounding all this by having a festival at Lowedges. Well, whatever next.
 Share this content via...

bassett one   452 #233 Posted March 30 well the ground is passed and lets hope it works out as good as some think, so best hope who ever has done the plans has got it right, as unlike a festival as big as ours is or a circus or funfair thats only a day or so. it looks great ,the survey by the lib/dems was against as were the locals , but unless they decide not to go ahead this council will pass it,pity we dont have the tram nearby. Result? Cars parked on the side roads for miles around, just like Bramhall Lane and Hillsborough."  Cars will hardly be parked for miles around when Sheffield FC get about 500 fans turning up. Plus lots of people attending will be local. The bus links are also pretty good considering there's the 24/25, 43/44 and 75 serving it. Just get it approved FFS.
 Share this content via...
