That Supreme Court judgement just proved -inasmuch as it needed to be proven- that Scotland is not sovereign, and cannot regain its sovereignty even if a majority of Scots wanted it back. The Union is therefore, by that definition, not one of equals, but one of vassals to England. Relative to 6 years ago, the boot is on the other foot.
