Guest   #1094 Posted June 20, 2018 What's your source for that claim?  I don't think that there is a war or natural disaster happening in Mexico is there?  How about they're seeking asylum from the crime and violence, does that help?  Its Mexico's issue to deal with. Are they seeking "asylum" in Cuba, Argentina, Brazil? You'd think the south Americans would look out for one another.
 Share this content via...

They aren't all from Mexico.  People are getting on at Trump because of his policy of separating children from their parents and detaining them in cages.  How do you feel about the policy? tinfoilhat   11 #1102 Posted June 20, 2018 Wanting to move away from the general crime and violence in Mexico doesn't qualify you as a "refugee" in the legal/UN recognised sense; "refugees" flee war and large scale natural disasters. If someone living on the Manor wanted to move away from the crime and anti-social behaviour to, say, Ecclesall, must the council be obliged to house them there as a "refugee"?  Do you know what the murder rate is in Mexico compared with, say, page hall? Making the experience too comfortable though will just encourage more illegal migration.  ---------- Post added 20-06-2018 at 20:21 ----------  Do you know what the murder rate is in Mexico compared with, say, page hall?  Granted Mexico's crime rates are more than most places but it isn't a "war" causing "refugees". Its an internal problem for Mexico that it needs to sort out. Its not the US's problem.
 Share this content via...
