Promises made - Promises kept. Trump secures funding for the border wall.

The supreme court decided by 5 votes to 4 he can use military funding.

I cannot imagine which Justice had the deciding vote.

I wonder if Boris can live up to it.

So it was all a load of bull when he promised Mexico would pay for the wall? A lying idiot.

I believe that children are our future. Unless we stop them now.

I would not believe a thing that comes out of that snake.

You think the people who have to revise plans as time goes by are liars?

His intention was to make Mexico pay for the wall (unless you have evidence to the contrary).  He did not lie here

Lol the two leaders are unlikely to actually make the deals themselves!

Yes but they will ultimately need to sign it off.

Don’t be too sure.

The tariffs on steel imports to the US, which meant that the US Treasury now has to  compensate its own soya farmers for lost business, was apparently thought up by the orange one himself with very little consultation.

Can I just remind those getting excited about a big Trump trade deal, that anything which threatens the Belfast Agreement will NOT get through Congress, however much Trump wants it.

The Irish American community in the US still has a lot of influence in both the Democratic and Republican Parties.

Obama, from the article linked to above -

“We should soundly reject language coming out of the mouths of any of our leaders that feeds a climate of fear and hatred and normalizes racist sentiment," he said. "Leaders who demonize those who don't look like us, or suggest that other people, including immigrants, threaten our way of life, or refer to other people as sub-human, or imply that America belongs to just one certain type of people."

You can't even conceive that Trump could utter such a complex sentence without ballsing it up, not to mention the rejection of white nationalism and hate-mongery.

It'd have just wandered off into how great he's doing, how he's done more than anyone else ever did... and those crowd sizes :hihi:

While Trump boasts of action on firearms, his administration has eased gun restrictions over the past 2½ years.
