trastrick   866 #54 Posted July 8, 2022 This maybe an unlikely link to the huge Bagshaw family tree.  Mrs Bagshaw had a nice house in Shirebrook Rd, Heeley (circa 1950). She had apple trees in the back.  She was something of a tailoress.  After the war when clothing coupons were rationed, she made us kids "jerkin suits" for those who remember.  She made them out of old army blankets, which she dyed a bright green.  Itchy, ill fitting, and embarassing to wear at school!     Share this post Link to post Share on other sites Share this content via...
