autumn
Came back from cappel street along Penistone rd only to find when arriving at Parkside that it was closed . Why don't they let people know sooner then I could have taken a different route rather than being stuck in traffic. I cannot find anything on council website saying how long this is to continue . Anyone any idea ?
Cyclone
Roadworks? Or an accident?
Penistone999
looks like they are resurfacing the pavements. I got stuck on Penistone rd at lunchtime. There wasnt any signs warning of the closure until you were 100 yds from the junction and too late to take a different route.
Fooman
It was the same at 10.30am this morning. No signs up on middlewood road and I spent 30 mins stuck in traffic only to do a loop and had to go back onto middlewood road again!
carosio
I too got delayed, with no warnings. Apart from this, does anyone know why (over past few weeks) the queues making the right turn up Herries Rd seem longer, perhaps they've altered the lights?
