foxy lady   10 #13 Posted January 12, 2016 (edited) "so ms Hall what first attracted you to the multi billionaire Rupert Murdoch?"  She is worth about $15 million already and has 4 kids. Murdoch also has 4 kids and is worth around $15 billion. I'm guessing that at 86 or however old he is he has already made provision for his kids to inherit. Jerry and her brood might get their hands on some of the loot, but the Jagger kids would appear to be well taken care of anyhow. Mick is 72 and worth around $360 million. Perhaps they need a bit to tide them over until he pegs out.  I don't even want to imagine any other motives. Give it a couple of years it could be a share of £15bn.
 Share this content via...

It's not the wealth - though that's nice, as £15 million lasts about six months in the world of the mega super rich - it's the power. Murdoch has Cameron et al in his pocket. There's an excellent Dame Sylvie Krin story in this week's Private Eye, which is just magnificent. If Murdoch left $15 billion to his kids there would be $6 billion bill for inheritance tax. But if he left it to his wife there would be no tax bill whatsoever. She would then be free to pass it on as she saw fit, or as agreed withing the constraints of the tax system. If she handed the whole lot to Murdochs heirs and lived for a further 7 years there should be no tax liability. Indeed Jerry Hall at 59 could even in the future marry one of Rupert Murdoch's own children and leave them all his money again tax free. I can't see Jerry Hall getting getting much of his money.
 Share this content via...
