Gazza58
Would certainly welcome a motorbike workshop, spoilt for choice regarding car repairs, but a bike repairs workshop is sadly lacking.

Orzel
There are a few. Some specialised ones and some general type. Most of clientèle will be under 25, no money, cheap chinese bike or moped. Cracked fairings, poor quality electrics etc. If you can work on big bikes not many of those around. Nearest Harley shop is in chesterfield, don't know about BMW. Some people doing jap bikes around. One guy doing trikes in Rotherham. There would definitely be a market for it.
kingdom
Just pointing out how complex bikes have become especially big sports bikes fi /fly by throttles/ abs / track / most interest is in dyno set up and removing 186 mph restriction etc etc swinton motorcycles seem to cover this There is a large influx of Chinese motorcycles and mopeds 50 cc to 125 cc which jap bike dealers don't like to touch they break a lot! And parts are readily available online they are fairly simple to work on and usually the owners buy them off the internet delivered so don't keep up the service schedule and warranty is void . worth a try hope it goes well for you

modforlife
There's a motorcycle repair buisness up for sale if you look at businesses for sale in Sheffield. It looks to me like the one down Heally bottom.

Shogun
I tried that a few years ago with a mate who was a good bike mechanic we had a workshop just off staniforth road darnall..we found that most bikers are pretty good at doing their own maintenance..it sort of fizzled out to a point where we were paying more out in rent and rates than we got in,a must is to have an MOT test bike garage if you want to make any money especially now in Sheffield as there are not that many doing bike MOT's.
