Looks like some have been inspecting the site which has just been cleared for the new retail outlet and bus station at Waverly. Hope so. I don't really understand the desire for a Yorkshire wide devolved region. Much too big, and aims are much too diverse IMHO. The South Yorkshire region is a decent size and fairly homogenous. That's nothing to do with devolution, it was a competitive bidding process. The city regions that have already got devolution deals have already been directly allocated much higher amounts of Transforming Cities funding . WalkleyIan
SCR appoints Dame Sarah Storey as Cycling and Walking Commissioner. Good choice, just hope she gets the same level of support that Boardman is getting in Manchester. https://www.cyclinguk.org/press-release/sheffield-appoints-dame-sarah-storey-cycling-and-walking-commissioner
