Greybeard Posted April 4, 2006 Share Posted April 4, 2006 google helped out You need to pan down a bit. The bad bend is on Long lane, - between Stubbin lane and the junction with Kirk Edge road. In the past six years we've seen three cars embedded in the wall there. Dunno if they were joy riders though, any stranger doing more than 25 mph round that bend could find themselves in the wall or on the wrong side of the road if coming up the hill from Loxley, and it's even more hairy in the dark Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I used to go to Bradfield School and can remember we used to cut accross the golf course when we skived off rather than walk round that corner, even now I always pay it respect and slow right down when I drive round it.
