The Middle East: only Wars & Conflict ! .. ??

Recommended Posts

i was gonna write similer, most of the conflicts are since the west, and countries like russia poke their noses in where its not wanted

But to be fair, before those countries 'poked their noses in where it's not wanted' half of the world didn't know where those places were and the other half probably didn't care.

Perhaps it's time to keep our noses (along with everything else - including our troops and our taxpayers' money) out?

Well standing back, and seeing this POSSIBLY objectively, the war in Syria is obviously a proxy war, between Saudi Arabia, and Syria, with the USA a hidden guiding hand for one side and Iran the other. The merits of the war, like Iraq and Libya can be made up and disseminated by a co-operative western media who fortunately do not ask question of any merit anymore.

Syria is far from desperate, and has been winning ground for some time, inflicting heavy causalities on what we regard as freedom fighters, rebels, but who in fact are not interested in freedom, but control. This scenario has upset western interests, as a strong Syria is not acceptable whatsoever. So a few weeks ago when poison gas was found to be used and Russia provided evidence that it was not of industrial quality, but a concoction, of ingredients not of Syrian origin. This inconvenient truth was not widely disseminated, despite the evidence being given to the UN.

So now we have the UN inspection team in the country to investigate the previous gas attacks that Russia provided material evidence about. Then just down the road a massive gas attack was staged. We are being told it was and had to be the Syrian government without any proof as yet, but the propaganda machine is in full throttle. So the UN team are in the country and down the road a massive gas attack, staged by Syria who is winning/killing the foreign backed invading force, who we now know are from a section of terrorists who honed their skills in Iraq and Libya, having returned from Afghanistan, where they were fighting the good, brave and just team from the west.

So who gains from this gas attack? Syrian government...I think not, as it provides an excuse to smash up the country as the good and the just did so effectively in Afghanistan, Iraq and Libya. In fact using gas would be the worst thing they could do, making suicide seem a more acceptable solution. The freedom fighting rebels would gain, as a Libya scenario of bombing the way to freedom and democracy for the opposition demonstrates.

So what might be the point of smashing up countries that have terrible leaders, Iraq, Libya, and now Syria, not forgetting Egypt in the wings. Egypt under the Muslim Brotherhood encouraged its citizens to fight in Syria, with the opposition. Anyway having countries smashed up, fighting each other in a sectarian and religious war is a very good thing indeed. So no strong states in the region, which helps one US ally, who have over 200 nukes and other weapons of mass destruction, but cannot be named.

So let us rejoice as each state is smashed up and destroyed, the people terrified and destitute, no working infrastructure, and all living in a rubble strewn state, possibly with the added ingredients of depleted uranium, which helps control the population rise. Let us look forward to the destruction of Syria, and not forgetting the next on the list, IRAN, which Syria was just part of the plan. The US can, after Syria's destruction, build military bases, for its own security of course, which could come in handy against the state that threw them out so publicly, Iran.

Meanwhile as for the plight of the most oppressed state in the region, Palestine, well they can forget it and lump it. They are not a potential threat to anyone, in their enclosed, prison state, which is useful for target practice and trial weapon practice. So double standards somewhere I am sure.

So we just need the excuse, make it us as in Iraq, Libya, and the rest of the places where certain states are not under the control of the right and just ones, of the free and democratic world, where poverty is a thing of the past in the Disney TV media world. Welcome back the Imperialists, and then its on to China, after Iraq of course.

So who creates the wars in the Middle East,a nd what might be the point? We the west, have interests, adn control of resourses just might be a signoificant issue to debate.

EXCELLENT POST EREBUS! You have covered everything...I need post no more.

After reading your posts maybe more people will start thinking outside the box instead of relying on the controlled propaganda they are fed via popular media sources.

With a bit of luck, the major powers will wait and see what is fed to them ON (as opposed to in) the box.

When it's all over, perhaps we might like to talk to whatever crawls out of the ashes?

Or perhaps we might not.

It's their country, their war and their business.

But it's not the west's fault that groups like Sunnis and Shi'ites just cannot get along together is it?

Larwrence of Arabia after WW One tried to organize some unity among the different tribes but even then he knew it was a lost cause and returned to England.

The Middle east needs strong rulers like Saddam, Ghadaffi, Mubarak because they are the only type of leaders who can maintain law and order. Forget democracy... they're not ready for it yet

So you would advocate we get our heads down, tote that bale and accept everything they do in our name without making a comment?

Do you read or watch anything other than the Daily Brainwash?

Very strange comments you make.url]

Government should be scrutinised. People do it, there are some decent journos in the sea of filth that is Fleet Street and they find consistently info we need to know about. Ive little time for both government snd the media, but both are respected globally, to a degree, for good reason. Digging out YouTube links and thinking that makes you and your mate Erebus the beacons of truth - newsflash - it doesn't.

Erebus talking about British soldiers killing people for fun is a lie and offensive. Erebus thinking the powers that be and, by proxy us voters laughing at wars and foreigners dying offends me. Talking about the great British public as though we are all stupid consumers and we don't know what's going on offends me. You and your mate don't know your born. Move to china, Russia and type some of the crap you type and let me know how you get on.

But for some reason, he doesn't get banned.

That's because he mostly doesnt actually state those things himself. He gets away with all the outrageous garbage because he cuts and pastes from the daily news of the day published in the Bugs Bunny Loony Tunes Gazette

The OP’s question has now been answered extensively and can be succinctly summed up as: ‘Yes, it is very fair to say that.’

Bush Jnr in Iraq and Afghanistan. Cameron and Sarkozy in Libya. As for Mubarak I would imagine that Obama wasnt very happy at his demise. Mubarak after all was America's key ally in the Arab world but when the mobs take to the street and start yelling about liberty for all and Mubarak seen as a cruel dictator western leaders see themselves as being caught between a rock and a hard place
