Don't understand what the Notts players were complaining at - could have been a broken rib that tackle. Only managed to see about half of the game but that Brandy lad is a trier isn't he? Good result - sound start to your effort at getting out of the pub league this season.

Thought you lot played some good football tonight, that new lad from Liverpool looked decent when he came on.

 

Apparently he is billed as the next Gerrard on Merseyside.

Against 10 you should walk it,you can only throw it away now NC just hoping for a bit of luck.

The sending off was a bit harsh won the ball 1st and the follow through caught the Blade,not much damage done,thought a booking was enough.

Any one know the crowd?

Sorry dobby harsh, it was just under his armpit I know we all wear tinted glasses sometimes, but anyone could see that was a sending off. In fact how did that Fotheringham stay on, almost all their fouls were by him.

Excellent result for us there, two very well taken goals. One question though, what were Barcelona doing playing in our shirts ?

Seriously, the way we passed the ball was premiership standard and at one point i counted 30 odd passes. We didn't hoof it out from the back, rather played the simple ball which created chance after chance. Notts County didn't have a prayer when we started passing it and it told at the end when their defender decided to foul McDonald in the corner.

 

If this is a sign of things to come, this season should be very interesting.

Same supporters (s6) who thought Killgallon's was deserved and he should have been banned for life

 

And he was jumping Pete it looked like if he wasn't jumping it could have took his head off
