old tup 30 #1 Posted July 7, 2013 Did anyone watch Dale Winton last night and see the Sheffield contestant, what an advert for our city!.He said he was a teacher admittedly a PT teacher,he didn,t answer one question to me he seemed basically thick!.But the injustice was he walked away with all the £45000 prize, when it was pointed out to him that he hadn,t contributed anything towards the prize he said quote"I feel like a pauper!".Well he certainly looked like one the scruffy get looked like he had just climbed out of a skip!,rant over maybe I,m a tad envious so I,ll shut up!. lucylac 10 #2 Posted July 7, 2013 How did he win the money if he didnt answer a question?
 Share this content via...
Priorylady 10 #3 Posted July 7, 2013 his only correct answer was the final question to determine whether he got a share of the winnings, he didn't actually add any money to the prize fund by answering a contributory question correctly
 Share this content via...
Rupert_Baehr 10 #4 Posted July 7, 2013 So are you saying that he just sat back and let somebody else do the work? That his only contribution was the (admittedly vital) answer he had to provide to allow him to put his snout in the trough? How long do you think it will be before he's selected as a parliamentary candidate for one of the Sheffield Constituencies? - He's be a shoe-in! mark103 10 #5 Posted July 7, 2013 He played the game fair and square and answered the question correctly. Sounds the op is jealous. If you want a chance to win apply to go on yourself
 Share this content via...
byeo 10 #6 Posted July 7, 2013 It's a game of luck, you need to be on the seat at the right time, he did, he won. It's just like Deal or No Deal and all these "systems" people have when they play, it's all luck, nothing less nothing more. Both games are a waste of airtime. leechini 10 #8 Posted July 7, 2013 Good luck to him. I could understand the OP thinking that the result was a bit unjust if the rest of the contestants were of superior intellect but they weren't. Granted the questions are fairly easy and on top of that its multi-choice (3options). Hardly the guy from Sheffields fault.
 Share this content via...
