gene
Have just read the book by Pat Callis and her sister about their early life in Sheffield. Does anyone know if they are planning a further book which would incorporate Pats interest in Natural Childbirth? Would be interested in finding a copy of this book - where can I get one please? GOLDEN OLDIE
I have just finished reading it. Ordered it from Sheffield Libraries. Its called 'Life is what you make it' by Muriel and Pat Callis. I went to classes in late 1971 at Ecclesall Parish Church Hall.

Miss Callis was a big believer in fathers being present at the birth something that not all maternity units allowed 50 years ago.
Daven
I had the privilege to meet Miss Callis and her sister recently. Books available on Amazon too. Edited October 22, 2018 by Daven
