Gleadly
If you are classified as a student, it might be easier and cheaper to get public transport with a students ticket. No problems with parking that way.

Gleadly
Let mummy and daddy pay for his parking. This will allow someone more needy to park there. Get a p/t job in bigmac. No problems there as it's handy for the college as well. Maybe if you go there enough they may let you park.

Tomm06
I used to go to the Engineering college, and there's loads of free parking round there, if you don't mind walking 5 minutes to the City college, there is the odd space every now and then on Farm Road and failing that you can drive up Granville Road there can be a few spaces up there, if you can be bothered to walk. Personally I'd park on the main road behind DOTMOT, but park your car on the curb if you can, I know people will hate you for it, but wing mirrors tend to get clipped on there. When I'm at uni, I park in G-Casino, it's only £3 for a full day (up till about 22:00 I think) or if you really want to be tight, it's £2.50 for about 9 hours. Boing
You can also park on Norfolk Park Road but again that's a 5-10min walk (depending on how far you have to go), or like someone said get the tram. Good luck with the course!
