deargdoom 10 #1 Posted March 26, 2013 Hello, My friends and I are planning on moving into a property in Crookes. We received the contract today which looks quite scary. Certainly scarier than my last tenancy agreement. In addition to our deposit, there is an administration fee of £80; is that the norm? Has anyone else used PJ Properties before? I can find nothing on the forum apart from one reply which said they were bad. Thanks
 Share this content via...
Jeffrey Shaw 93 #2 Posted March 28, 2013 You as T are asked to pay £80? On what contractual basis? Surely the Letting Agent is L's contractor, not yours!
 Share this content via...

If you dont like it you the only other option is private, but that can bring issues.
 Share this content via...
gym_rat 10 #4 Posted March 30, 2013 (edited) You as T are asked to pay £80? On what contractual basis? Surely the Letting Agent is L's contractor, not yours! admin fees are par for the course. Could you be so kind as to explain what "T" and "L" are? txt speak is still not allowed on the forum, so surely the same rule should apply here. sw123 10 #10 Posted May 2, 2013 PJ Properties are good, seem decent landlords with nice houses - think they own the majority of them. £80 not bad for an admin fee!
 Share this content via...

Danny_Boy 10 #12 Posted May 3, 2013 £80 is a very reasonable admin fee. Blundells charge £250.
 Share this content via...
