Be warned though. Once you unlock the bootloader via htcdev you may struggle with warranty. Even if you return the phone to stock it shows relocked in the bootloader. Only way to stop that is to get S-off... Which there isnt a way yet.

I've had 2 rooted phones repaired under warranty (1 HTC and 1 samsung), never even mentioned it.

Samsung arent bothered but HTC have refused ALOT of HOX's because of this. Its been one of the big topics of conversation on xda. I also said it MAY be difficult, not that it doesnt happen. ;)

 

Its also the reason i havent touched mine. Although im quite happy running stock for now.
