Hi

Just wondering if anyone knows if Gleadless Road is bad with the snow, I am trying to get home with my 2 week old baby but I have been told that no cars can get up or down Gleadless Road and Eastbank Road?

Please help and reply

Thanks

I think I was very sensible using the tram gate instead of adding to the farce :-)

Good move , cant fault you.......... but dont shout too loud about it ,as some on here see driving through tram and bus gates as a Hanging offense.

If in traffic, engine running or not, yes.

If safely parked up with engine not running, no.

So in this case, yes. According to the Government website.

Didn't know that - thanks.

You can go up leighton road if you struggle, the buses are still going up and down there and it's less steep.

I've just seen a car go down slowly but I can't actually see the road itself. If you're desperate I could go and have a look.

Nightmare scenario for teachers. It snows during the day, and will be gone during the night. As a result, no school closures and no snow days listening to Levellers CDs and sleeping in till 12pm.

So tedious....
