Why aren't they out catching criminals instead of poncing around in a supermarket, wasting time on a pointless PR stunt?

I wish the police were around when i got mugged and beat up on monday.

Only a stones throw away from moss way too and not a police man to be seen :(

The latest from SYP's Facebook:

"So far in today’s operation in the Parson Cross area of Sheffield, police have executed five warrants and arrested 12 people – including two men for breach of ‘gang injunctions.’

A large quantity of drugs have been seized including a kilo of Heroin, 20 knives have been seized and alleged counterfeit alcohol confiscated from a premise."

I'm sorry about what happened to you, and I hope you are okay, but this is hardly wasting time on a PR stunt.

Were any of them arrested at Chavsta?

If not, it was a stunt.

Probably gone to check that the Parsonians are using the correct lane off the roundabout for turning into T'Asboda stolen car park?

Saw them across from Chaucer where the shops used to be - they'd blocked off the little road. Must've have been about 30-50 officers, two or three horses, vans, cars, the lot. And I'm sure I saw a camera crew filming them?
