Agreed thats why i folded my buisness up plastering , you cannot compete with the stupid prices .. not if you pay taxes etc ?

there is a 4 day course in manchester for 100 pounds in plastering, but if i was you i would spend 2 years doing electrics at college much better pay

Or offer to work for 5 quid a hour and the odd kenco, get a garden trowel and a big bag of polyfiller and see where you go

I did not say spelling was an essential skill but the previous poster should avoid denigrating those workers who offer a superior service.Why mention office work?It shows the limitations of your imagination if you think spelling matters in an office with Spellcheck-whatever work you do it pays to be smart,even in removals.

Yep let them do the work.

Like I said, the professionals can then charge people like you to rectify the rubbish when it falls off in a few years...or when it's painted and looks garbage.
