DaveGas   10 #2 Posted May 15, 2012 Depends on what pegs you have, the carp are big and you need decent well balanced tackle, locals use 8 to 10lb line on method 6/7lb hook lengths, pegs in 50s are nice but can be hard work due to lillys, pegs in 20s to 40s on the spit chuck out to bushes or small islands but hang on lol, lots of silverfish to go at usually about 4/5m.
