They'll deny it of course, till one of them gets caught kissing Nick.

The BNP are now almost gone for good, however there is still a big demand in this country for an extreme right wing party.

The main reason the Tories lost so many seats is that they're too centre and not right wing racist and homophobic enough, so UKIP mop up the disillusioned Tory voters, and the underclass socialists lefty votes making them the new BNP, plus they're less thuggish and therefore more marketable, especially for the rich.

So are UKIP the perfect replacement for the BNP?

CLOWN ! End of.

So does that mean your happy that the BNP has switched to Labour?
Of course, the less votes the BNP get the better, hell I'd even prefer it if they voted tory.

Look at that!! I actually answered your question, directly! :o

Any chance you could do me the same courtesy:

You seem to want to punish labour for turning people away from the BNP, surely that's a good thing?

Once a labour voter has voted BNP once would you have it that Labour just abandon them and never try to regain their vote?

There are racists who vote Labour, there are homosexuals who are racist, there are political parties that come and go and there are plenty of people who feel they are not represented by any political party at the moment ..... hence the poor turnout of voters in this country !

Disclaimer: I am not a labour supporter.

This whole line of yours is petty and absurd, you want to punish labour for turning people away from the BNP, surely that's a good thing?

Once a labour voter has voted BNP once would you have it that Labour just abandon them and never try to regain their vote?

Completely ridiculous, not even the murdoch press would go with that story.

I agree, but there are double standards at play. It looks like when Labour draw that support away from BNP, it is congratulated as defeating the BNP, but if a remotely right leaning party manages the same, it is seen as a point of criticism.

I'm not saying that, just pointing out the hypocracy of Labour. I have a feeling that if UKIP won some seats due to taking the BNP's votes the emphasis would have been on UKIP attracting fascists and not them saving the BNP voters by returning them to a more mainstream party.

Labour has won back some BNP types, I'm just saying will the Labour party welcome them with open arms and forgive them, or once a BNP'er always a BNP'er..

My point is about the double standards of Labour...

If there were prizes for being utterly vague, you'd have it made Frank. Why not say what you really think? Perhaps you're scared of something or other.

What are you talking about ?

Do you actually have anything to say or just skip from topic to topic asking stupid questions of posters that are at least on subject?

If prizes were given out I would probably get my post removed for mentioning the one you would win.

I think Labour should insist that anyone who voted BNP in the past should not vote for them..

So having voted once for bnp, labour say dont vote bnp again?

If it is correct to say that the support for the BNP at the ballot box has significantly reduced it is a valid question to ask where their votes have gone

UKIP's policies may not be racist, homophobic or anti semitic, but it seems fair to ask if their raison d'etre appeals to some of those who previously voted for the BNP[/QUOTE]

Not the same thing at all.

UKIP's policies are a lot more moderate and democratic. The majority of Trades Unions, BNP and UKIP are anti EU. This does not mean that Trades Unions and UKIP believe in forced repatriation or are violently anti semetic and rascist.

A few disgruntled Tories and Lib-Dems vote for UKIP in protest, however this year a lot of traditional Labour supporters voted UKIP probably for the same reasons ie: they are dissatisfied with local politicians who, in spite of wearing different political colours are all working to the same agenda.

Comments on Common Purpose/EU Directives and Corruption are best left to another thread at another time.

Google is your friend. Look and research yourself then make up your minds which political party stands for what policies and whether or not it appeals to you. Do not make the mistake that because your family has always voted for one particular party that this is the only way forward for you and our country. What worked in the 1940's and 50's may not be relevant in our modern world.

That statement is idiotic.

How could any political party know what party voters previously voted for? Unless you are implying the end to secret ballots and suggesting voters should stand shoulder to shoulder in public areas and raise their hands to endorse a candidate?

How a person votes is between them and their conscience, and that is how it should be.
