suzan Posted March 7, 2012 Share Posted March 7, 2012 My brother has a problem, he would like to know why the light bulb pops evertime he switches it on, hes had no work done in in his house for 14 years apart from decorating so wants to know why its just started to happen. Ghozer Posted March 7, 2012 Share Posted March 7, 2012 It could be that the system has got to the point it needs a check and service.. and if they had decorating done, did they take the front off the sockets and switches etc to decorate properly when painting/papering? - it could be that something has worked loose if this is the case.. I look forward to your replies. Thankyou Do you mean that the bulb pops,but stays on if so try fitting a new bulb. If it trips the fuse/cutout, and the bulb goes out.
