DumDom
Saw what seems to be a new Turkish and French ? restaurant opening (glanced going past in car), near H2O bathrooms, just up from LIDL. Quite fancy a Turkish restaurant nearby. Would be a welcolme addition to the area. Just wondered if anyone knew anything about it, when it is to open etc?? DerbyTup
I think it's Turkish. I sent my CV to them last week as I heard they were looking for belly dancers. But I've not eaten there yet.

scabby
They've only been open since this Monday and they are open everyday 7:00am till 10:00pm. I went in this morning, but just had a Latte and a massive piece of cake. The rest of the menu looks interesting, they do sandwiches, paninis, burgers, as well as the authentic Turkish and French food. You can get a shisha for £10 aswell, if your interested in that sort of thing! I would definately go in again and try something a little more substantial. I hope it does well as I could see myself sat in there on a regular basis with my coffee and newspaper

rubydazzler
london road That section is on Chesterfield Road. It looked closed when I went past but it looked nice inside. Will have to give it a try sometime. I also want to try the tearoom further up, that looks interesting also.
Garlic
We went early evening recently and had hummus, aubergine salad (baba ganoush) and a few other things.Very nice and very good value. I was surprised how full it was at that time of day. Nice atmosphere too.
