HeadingNorth Posted August 10, 2011 Share Posted August 10, 2011 That isn't what the HWC says, it says that if you are turning right you must use the RHL and if you are turning left you must use the LHL. If there is a dual carriageway exit that is straight ahead then you can use either lane and exit into the appropriate lane. (Not that that is relevant to people using the wrong lane to turn right at junc 34). Fair comment. I was responding while thinking about someone using the right hand lane to turn left onto a two-land slip road, and forgot about the straight-ahead rules.
