Groupon sold out

Recommended Posts

The deal at Grayson's restaurant has been cancelled.

That's 5 times we've used Groupon, and 2 have been cancelled.

Yes my friend has been let down by Graysons after booking a table (groupon deal) for a special occasion then having it cancelled on the day due to disputes with groupon. The link says they would have trouble keeping open after the six months deal ended, I feel that with all the bad publicity they will close sooner !

Today's groupon offer well worth having... £12 of products for £30... plus a free love your body card that gets you 10% discount AND further free gifts as well, I've bought one, tempted to get another.

Sheffield is in the small print though as one of the "non-participating stores".

Another disgruntled Graysons purchaser here - I had been looking forward to trying it out but won't be doing so now. It's very convenient to blame Groupon but surely when you enter into a contract with these people you need to be very specific about how many vouchers you can afford to sell? If Graysons is serious about apologising to Groupon purchasers surely a gesture e.g. a free drink to those who book & bring along their useless Groupon vouchers?

I agree totally and especially when people had already booked a table and then to be cancelled on the morning is disgusting, at least they could have honoured the booked ones !

Dear Groupon Customer,

Deal cancelled – refund processed

Thank you for your purchase of the Gandhi restaurant deal in Sheffield. Due to unforeseen circumstances this deal has now been withdrawn and it is no longer possible to redeem this offer.

We apologise for any disappointment caused by this and have now refunded you in full for this deal. Please allow up to 5 working days for the funds to be transferred back to your original method of payment.

This was an incident beyond our control and has no bearing whatsoever on other deals offered. We hope to bring you something that similarly tempts your palate in the very near future and thank you for your understanding at this time.

We hope this unfortunate incident does not discourage you great upcoming offers in Sheffield and trust you will find another deal of interest very soon at http://www.groupon.co.uk

Kind regards,

The Customer Service Team

I received this e mail at the beginning of Jan 11, just checked my account and found no refund. Has anyone else who bought this offer had any problems, I purchased two vouchers costing £16.

I've emailed them and waiting for a response

I bought this deal and was refunded within a week, no probs.
