I'd also be happy to both learn and teach - I only have a small kitchen so it wouldn't be any good for doing it at my house though.

I'd happily teach people to bake cakes/buns/desserts, and I do a lot of Italian cooking as well. I'm vegetarian so would happily show people how to make some vegetarian or vegan dishes, and I'm also used to making gluten-free food as I have some family & friends who can't eat gluten, so maybe my skills would be useful to anyone who is just beginning a veggie/vegan/gluten free diet.

 

As far as learning goes, I'm very interested in all types of cuisine - I've particularly been getting more & more into Indian, Thai and Chinese food, I think I know a reasonable amount about these so I'm not a total beginner, but it'd be lovely to have some pointers from someone who really knows what they're doing as I just follow recipes from books. I'd love to know how to make Indian sweets if anyone fancied doing a session on that!

What we should do is organise a cooking party, where someone cooks and then gives a one dish demonstration - you then sit down and eat and are social together

The Blend cook alongs run on the last Thursday of each month from 6 till 8 at the Shipshape health and wellbeing centre on Sharrow Lane, just off London Road. Not sure why the post code gave you a location in Chesterfield.
