No, I stopped donating to the RSPCA after hearing a few horror stories about them, they certainly ARE useless...unless it's phoning people up at this time of year trying to get more money..

I don't have faith in the RSPCA but this thread isn't about them is it so why keep banging on about how useless they are, why not start a new thread? They have taken Tank to investigate so like I said we can only wait and see

The whole point of this thread is that a poor dog [Tank] has been treated cruelly. I just hope the people responsible are brought to justice. I'm not 'banging on' about the RSPCA, I hope they will get justice. As you say, let's wait and see...If the RSPCA do not do their job properly then these people should be NAMED AND SHAMED so that other dogs can be saved.

I am so very sorry to read about how this ended for you and Tank, it was such a shock, I was hoping to see that he was back on the road to recovery today

 

Please don't beat yourself up to much you sold Tank in good faith expecting him to be taken to a loving pet home, yes you made a mistake but did absolutely everything in your power to rectify it...lets hope that this scumbag gets exactly what he deserves for what he has done to Tank and the RSPCA hit him with all that they have, and take away any other dogs that he may have so this cannot happen again.

Thanks for all your replys today has been very very hard for us both we just hope that what were doing is going to help save other pets. I cant belive that a human could treat a animal like that, if it was human on human it would be murder!!! We tried our best to make him comfortable and to get him on the road to recovery but the damage was done and we was too late! Id like to thank "Ziggy42" who was a huge huge help and got him home to us asap!! who'd have thought that my poor old bully tank man would take his last breaths in my arms? im heartbroken that my btm's gone! Im 26 and done nothing but cry all day! I miss you tank, I love you were ever you are I hope your pain free and happy and bombing around like you do!! one day we'll go for a big walk again R.I.P BTM Lots of love mum and dad XXXXX
