La Belleza
Its a foot massage, however different parts of the feet and hands locate a different part of the body or organ. Lets say you had a few back problems and a cold, the therapist would be able to feel this in the feet as it will feel cruchy or you may find the area a little uncomfortable. A full consultation is required prior to the treatment. It is fascinating. Alot of people think they are reflexologist by just giing their clients a foot masssage, however reflexology takes about a year to train in. Hope this help a little. x

oldiegirl
I had a friend years ago who is a reflexologist and she trained for longer than a year. I once had a migraine and she found the spot on my foot where the pain was supposed to match the pain in my head. She cured the migraine alright but my feet hurt for 4 hours. I would not have called it a relaxing moment for me but she did say that if you are healthy it would be relaxing. she was a good one and was employed by a rugby team in London to get rid of their aches and pains after matches. Tradescanthia
I had a session a while back at Weston Park Cancer Support Unit. It WAS stress relieving and relaxing. Did everything it said on the tin. A lot of cancer patients have had it and benefitted by it. Before this type of therapy can be of any use to you you have got to NEED it, and I repeat the word NEED. I was most gratefull for mine, it helped tremendously.
