Reflexology, has anyone tried it ?

Recommended Posts

Yes, it's excellent, very relaxing and it gives you a real boost.

I've no idea how it works.

Although I don't think I will be able to stand someone messing with my feet for half hour session but I'm going to give it a try :)

Reflexology is complementary therapy, which works on the reflexology points on the feet or hands to aid healing to the whole person not just the prevailing symptoms. Reflexology may also be carried out on the ears and face by specialised practitioners.

Above from The Association of Reflexologists.

Rubbing your feet can relieve your back pain for instance, as long as done on the right point on your feet.

I 've been given a gift card for a free Reflexology session, I hear people raving about it, is it that good ? I see theres a mobile one in Sheffield, has anyone tried it and what does it do exactly

If you need someone to crunch your feet popps, get yourself round here when you're next in blighty. KK ;)

Seriously though, it's nice if you like having your feet played with, I doubt there's any credibility in the claim that pressure applied to tiny areas on your feet can cure certain medical conditions though.

As long as you don't expect a magic foot massage to do you any actual good, you will be ok. It won't do you any harm and you might enjoy the social occasion.

Just treat it as an afternoon out and a chance to get your feet rubbed.
