I have to add that the Sheffield Tap now has two more rooms now which makes it more fabulous and you can even sit down!

Yep, phase two of the Tap complete!

Sadly the further phases which was to include a micro brewery and restaurant have had to be cancelled as they can no longer get the promised grant from the Railway Heritage Trust to restore that part of the building, this is due to the trust being one of the 'Quangos' the new Conservative/Liberal Democrat government has abolished to save money.

When we come to Sheffield my OH tries different real ale pubs so thanks to the posters he will be able to add a few more pubs to his to do list. He also calls in at the Archer Road Beer Stop shop at Woodseats and buys a few bottles of various real ales to bring home with him. When we were last in the city in August I think that the shop was up for sale.

My OH says 'has anyone mentioned The Wellington near the Shalesmoor tram stop?' Apparently he liked it in there.
