Romario Posted October 26, 2010 Share Posted October 26, 2010 Hi Anyone been to Chez la lou of late at commonside?, went ages ago, the food was good but a bit grotty!, wondered if anyone been & what its like now! Also, am looking for a good Thai, vietnamese restaurant on London rd, there's pho69, Thai panna or dim sum, or the one just opened where the vietnamese noodle bar was i think but not sure which is the best!! The decor and place is clean and spotless and the people who own it are so friendly, they remember you and it's that kind of thing that counts!! Thai Orchid restaurant is dire! Microwaved rice and dirty floors, dirty looking counter. Ew, the food was worse than expected and I was not impressed the slightest, it was very poor quality! Baan Thai is nice, but I prefer Thai Punna. I have yet to try All Siam as I am in Thailand for a month shortly so I won't be going until I return!! I really liked Pho 68 first time I went but then the 2nd time, I found out about the MSG whilst visiting, it ruined my meal and I won't be returning!
