depoix
Im going fishing at crookes valley park.its the first time i'll be fishing and was just wondering if anyone had any tips on what type of floats and bait i should use here? Thanks alotfish as light as you can with a waggler ,one of the better spots is on the bend near the landing stage and the weeds although as you walk around you will see shoals of small roach, the carp cruise close in and are a good size, plenty of perch,i favour double maggot when its a bit cool like the weather is this week,if your fishing with the pole be careful as there are a few joggers that like to run around the lake and tackle can easily be trod on good luck
andyofborg
the lake contains some highly intelligent homicidal fish created by accident when an experiment in the university's genetics department went wrong. be careful how you fish there, what you catch may eat you! budgiela
Fished there last night and had some nice bream/hybrids, however was catching a fish a chuck for an hour then didn't have another bite all night, some other lads fishing said they'd seen pike and zander follow small fish to the bank when being reeled in, is there any actual pike in there or zander, one geezer even mentioned a catfish??!! Might explain y my swim went dead ?? Also be careful down there as lots of polish guys askin u to catch them fish, couldn't believe the cheek of it!! Any replies welcome, tight lines!!!
