Cuey   10 #121 Posted April 17, 2009 showing her true colours now...raking it in...what a nice little earner...get a wack of a copper and pay off the mortgage....do you think it was stage managed...and was she in with the guy who kicked it all off....put the robocop back on duty...weve been had...  It could only have been stage managed if she could have predicted the coppers response. If she could do that then it would show that most police can be relied on to be violent. Should she be cashing in; no. Does this mean he should be let off for be being a violent un disiplined thug; no.
 Share this content via...

geocol   10 #123 Posted April 17, 2009 "It was just like being whipped by the Taliban.." Sorry but that is a very unusual way of describing something, how does she know? She still seems like an oddball in my eyes.  Could have been in a Taliban beauty salon, but cavorting in front of the photographers and police for five minutes, has reputedly earnt her 50 grand.  There is one simple solution o solve this in the future, tried and tested elsewhere.  Water cannon! Smithster   10 #125 Posted April 17, 2009 She'll not have a mortgage. She'll be spongeing of the state like most of them there.  You know that for a fact do you?  That's a shocking and pathetic generalisation which only shows up your ignorance I'm afraid. If you read the link from earlier in the thread to the Guardian page which has reports from numerous eye-witnesses and victims, you will realise that these protests were attended by a very large cross-section of society. garrence   10 #126 Posted April 17, 2009 There is one simple solution o solve this in the future, tried and tested elsewhere. Water cannon!  The footage was shot at the vigil for Ian Tomlinson the day after he died of an abnormal hemorrhage (not the heart attack the police coroner had said).  It was part vigil for a dead man, part a protest against the random police beatings.  And you want to turn a water cannon on those who cared enough to attend.  I know who the dead mans family would thank - and it isn't you. melthebell   864 #127 Posted April 17, 2009 All this stuff about him covering his collar number before going out on duty is rubbish. Officers above the rank of sergeant do not have collar numbers, instead they have coloured epaulettes to identify rank.  coppers have always removed numbers / rank before going out on "protests" just in case
 Share this content via...
verona   10 #128 Posted April 17, 2009 coppers have always removed numbers / rank before going out on "protests" just in case  In case of what? In case someone looks them up in the yellow pages?  By law officers have to to give their collar number if asked by a member of public. verona   10 #130 Posted April 17, 2009 and as weve seen the "law" doesnt apply in such situations  But officers at this event had collar numbers on show. It was only high rank that didn't because they don't have to.
 Share this content via...
ukdobby   225 #131 Posted April 18, 2009 If you go to the jungle you risk of being eaten. If you mountain climb you risk falling. If you swim you risk drowning. If you mob up and abuse, smash windows damage property, the police are there to stop them, she shouldn't have been there in the front line if she wanted a peacefull day. She'll be spongeing of the state like most of them there.  Seems you were right:  "The G20 protestor who claims she was beat up by police has admitted being a heroin addict.  Nicola Fisher, 35 - who has a string of drug and shoplifting convictions - has lived on benefits all her adult life and currently lives on £500 per month in state support.  Yesterday one of her neighbours said "She mouths off about green politics, normally down the park with the dog-on-a-string brigade."  As Jeremy Kyle would say "Well, well, well."
