Claret   10 #50 Posted March 26, 2009 Well, as you know, I did have my concerns.  However, I went with my husband on Tuesday evening.... and I really hate to say this... but it is actually a nice looking bar. Had a good martini, which always shuts me up, and enjoyed the enormous sofas. It was incredibly quiet though - even for a Tuesday. Will try it at the weekend, when it's busier, to see what it's really all about.
 Share this content via...

Buttercup88 Â Â 10 #56 Posted March 28, 2009 I love it! We went in last night and even considered having our wedding reception there. The only thing that put us off is that there's time for it to go downhill as we haven't even set a date yet!! Â I think this bar is just what Sheffield needs, it's classy and set out really well. Buttercup88 Â Â 10 #57 Posted March 28, 2009 By not having drink offers, maybe they're trying to keep it classy.
 Share this content via...
Claret   10 #58 Posted March 28, 2009 Yeah, suppose. Platillos bar seems to manage it without any big offers. We'll see.
 Share this content via...

undz   10 #60 Posted March 28, 2009 By not having drink offers, maybe they're trying to keep it classy.  Give it about two weeks... and you'll see drinks offers! Trust me Everyone has to do drinks offers midweek. You would be crazy not to, and no bar would survive otherwise.
 Share this content via...
