Hi all, I am after replacing my Combi Boiler, it is currently upstairs in the bathroom and needs to be moved about 6 ft forward and then downstairs into the kitchen. I am after recommendations for boiler fitters, I have been through some of the big companies like British Gas etc but they are asking way too much for the work doing. Ideally I would like a company who can offer an extended warranty on the boiler. Thanks Richard

There is Snakes'n'Adders up next to Embassy night club in intake which i would highly recomend. Chaz and his brother Paul have got the widest range or reptiles which i have seen in any shop. http://www.snakesnadders.org/snakesnaddersssssss/ They really know what they are talking about aswell, we went up there a few month ago for a beardie, most other shops were ready to hand over the Viv and the baby beardie at the same time but Chaz refused to. he gave us the viv and showed us how to set it up fully and then made us wait 2 days before collecting our beardie. i know that may sound harsh but it was to make sure that all of the temps were correct so that our beardie would be safe. even if you just go up and have a look i would definatly recomend it. the animals which they stock are beautiful and it is the cleanest and best presented shop i have ever seen. hope this helps Richard

i live in s5 and the postman seems reluctent to deliver parcels, i was in the house all day yesterday waiting for a parcel and all i got was a slip through the door, he did not even knock. my partner saw him and she said that he did not even have the parcel with him. its a joke

i had the same issue, i went onto the xbox website and did the trouble shooting, at the end it was deemed a fault on the machine, they sent me a free delivery label and all i had to do was take it to a DHL centre, from there it was sent to germany to be repaired and sent back within a week. you can also track every step of the repair online, it even tells you which worker is working on your machine. very fast and efficient. to add a twist tho it was not actually the xbox at fault but the power supply so they sent me a new power supply free of charge. when i spoke to them tho they said that any xbox less than 5 years old they will repair free of charge if it gets the red lights. richard

10oz gloves for kickboxing - advice please
richardquinn replied to ads21's topic in Sheffield Sport & Activities
i would recomend Twins or Fairtex. however if you are after gloves for sparring or for bag work i would recomend getting some 16 or 18oz gloves. 10oz gloves are purely for fighting in. i have a pair of topten gloves which i use to wear when i competed when i was younger. they are a great glove but the bayflex which they are filled with is all in the knuckle, making it more absorbent when hitting your opponent. Twins are a tight fit (but then again i have big hands), the wrist support which twins provide is great and they are really comfortable. would highly recomend going down to Wicker Camp to buy them as you will be ablew to select the glove you want and if you ask Mick or Trix im sure they will let you try them on so that you can feel which is right for you -
Disgusted at doormans behaviour

to my knowledge Levi does not work in hillsbrough and he does not have a london accent. Just to add to a comment earlier if you go into a venue asking for a door supervisors Name and number, any decent manager will not give it to you, they will give it to the police but not to just anyone as from their number it is possible to find their name etc on the sia website -
You will find that a lot of places will not let you in with shorts on. If you have been out during the day then so be it but door staff normally start on a venue at 8pm, therefore the dress code will be enforced from then, If you walk past players and a few other venues you will see that they are now starting to display the dress code in the window. As for trainers it depends on what they are like. Plain trainers will be ok but sports trainers are a no. With regards to T-Shirts etc, if they have big logos on them such as Henley’s etc, they will generally be refused from most places now. The big issue in Sheffield is that there are 2 football teams and some brands are associated with the football lads. Therefore it is easier to have a blanket rule on dress code rather than trying to deem who is a football lad or not etc. The easiest thing to do is to walk away and accept it then come back the following week if you want to get in. Unfortunately some people don’t see this as an option and try to start fights with the door staff which is not the most sensible decision as it almost always ends up with them being locked up or not being able to get in anywhere else that night. Town is covered by police cameras all the time and the doormen are all linked via radio so kicking off at one pub can wreck the rest of your night. And remember the dress code is set by the managment of the club/pub, the doorstaff are there to enforce it, not change it. Hope this helps.

i have been twice on work nights out, i think that the food is really good and the price is great too. we normally go as a group of about 8-10 of us and have a starter, a main, nan breads and popadoms along with a few drinks and sometimes a desert. it normally costs about £25 each which isnt bad at all. Also the place caters for people you are gluten intolerant which is good. -
lads at Bia Hoi arent bad either
