Mum used to do them with shallots I think with Christmas dinner, they were yummy. in fact her Xmas dinner was, god I will miss it this year- 3rd year in a row! Honey orange carrots, sprouts with shallots, crunchy roast potatoes. Yum  I love sprouts, I tend to have them with Sunday roast.
