Incidentally, Wednesday pocket a spare £250,000 as part of the deal that took Brunt (was it Brunt?) to West Brom, since they've secured promotion. Bit of good news there, at least. If it hadn't been accounted for already, but unfortunately in the wisdom of the current Wednesday board the money has already been accounted for and effectively spent. The story in The Star stated that Wednesday were aware of the fact that they would receive the extra £250,000 IF WBA were promoted, and had included this conditionally in their budgets, and that it wasn't an 'unexpected' bonus.
